Itchen Valley Parish Council is one of the largest Parish Councils in the Winchester District.
It includes the villages of Avington, Easton, Itchen Abbas and Martyr Worthy and covers the area from Cheesefoot Head in the south to Shroner Wood in the north.
There are almost 1100 voters on the electoral roll.

On Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18, and Thursday 19 March the A34 northbound from the M3 junction 9 to Three Maids Hill will be closed from 8pm to 6am for vegetation clearance work
The M3 northbound will be closed from 9pm to 6am between Junction 10 (B3330/A31 exit to Winchester and Alton) and Junction 9 (Winnall interchange) on Monday 16 March for carriageway management.
