A272 closure (Spitfire Link) from 13 April to 8 May

Spitfire Link section of the A272 between the M3 Junction 9 at Winnall and the Petersfield Road will be closed overnight between Monday 13 April and Friday 8 May.

Overnight (8pm to 6am) from Monday 13 April to Friday 8 May (excluding 23, 24, and 25 April and weekends apart from Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May) the Spitfire Link section of the A272 both northbound and southbound will be closed for surfacing works and A272 gyratory island build.

The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.
You are advised NOT to use a Satnav when following any of the diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto our network when it is closed.

Please note lane closure information is not usually provided on the project website or closure bulletins.
