Temporary Road Closure – Chapel Lane POSTPONED – NEW START DATE TO BE DETERMINED
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Chapel Lane between its junction with Fair Lane and its junction with B3404 Alresford Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Chapel Lane between its junction with Fair Lane and its junction with B3404 Alresford Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Easton Lane, B3047, Avington Lane, Avington Road, A31
DURATION OF ORDER: from 26th January 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.
POSTPONED – NEW START DATE TO BE DETERMINED.
Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 08:00 – 18:00.
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet to carry out new pole installation.
