M3 Junction 9 roundabout, slip roads, and surrounding roads closures September

The M3 Junction 9 roundabout, slip roads and several surrounding roads, will be closed 9pm Friday 11 September to 6am Monday 14 September so essential tie-in works can be completed safely and efficiently.

The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.
You are advised NOT to use a Satnav when following any of the diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto the network when it is closed.
Please remember that closures can change at short notice. You can check the latest information on the daily closures page or find live travel information on the Traffic England. The travel alerts give details of live incidents on the network.
Updates are also posted on the Highways south east X and Facebook social media accounts which you can share.

Please note lane closure information is not usually provided on the project website or closure bulletins.
 
In the event of poor weather conditions or other issues out of the contractors’ control, planned work may be postponed at short notice.

***Important Information***

From Monday 14 September until late November 2026 Easton Lane westbound towards Tesco will be reduced to one lane. This to allow work to start on the embankment and the old southwest subway.
