Temporary restrictions A33 Basingstoke Road, A30 Winchester Road, Micheldever, Winchester.
Hampshire County Council advise that the following road will be temporarily restricted sometime during the next 21 days, with an approximate start date of 17/07/2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council considers it necessary, in order to carry out works on or near the highway, for the speed to be restricted on the road(s) specified below without delay due to the likelihood of danger to the public or the risk of serious damage to the road.
ROADS TO BE RESTRICTED TO: 40mph, that part of A33 Basingstoke Road, A30 Winchester Road between its junction with B3047 London Road and its junction with Trenchard Lane
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 17/07/2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
