M3 junction 9 project- overnight closures including 15 September

Overnight tonight 15 September, 9pm to midnight, the M3 northbound between junction 9 and 8 will be closed to repair damaged safety barrier.

Below sets out the planned closures for the works

***Emergency safety closure***

  • Overnight tonight, 15 September, 9pm to midnight we are closing the M3 northbound between junction 9 and 8 – Damaged safety barrier repair

 

  • Overnight on Wednesday 16, Thursday 17, Friday 18, and Saturday 19 September (8pm to 6am) we are closing the A34 northbound from junction 9 to Three Maids Hill – Vegetation clearance

 

  • Overnight from Monday 28 September until Friday 9 October (8pm to 6am – excluding weekends) we are closing Easton Lane westbound (towards Tesco) – Southwest subway excavation works

 

  • Overnight on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October (8pm to 6am) we are closing the M3 northbound exit slip road – Southwest subway excavation works

 

***Important Information***

National Highways have planned closures of the M3 between junction 10 and 7 for maintenance and carriageway works, these closures are not associated with the M3 junction 9 improvements project.

We advise you not to use a Satnav when following any of our diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto our network when it is closed.

Please note lane closure information is not usually provided on our project website or closure bulletins.

 

In the event of poor weather conditions or other issues out of our control, planned work may be postponed at short notice.
